Dallas is hot … and not just in August. Joining New York, LA, Houston and Miami, the Dallas area leads the nation in elective cosmetic procedures. The producers of HotdocsTV have chosen the Metroplex to anchor its new 13- week series on elective procedures, plastic surgery and beauty information.

The show features many leading area doctors, including Drs. Andy Chang, John Tebbetts, Lori Stetler, and Jay Burns, and practices Kleiman-Evangelista Eye Center and Lap-Band Solutions.

HotdocsTV leaves the drama and storylines to Dr. 90210 and Nip/Tuck. The show sets out to educate its viewers, being decisively informative first … then entertaining. “So many people are interested in improving their appearance … in managing how they age … going beyond working out,” says Executive Producer Matt Williams of Hacienda Nocturna Productions. “We want these people – and, believe me, it’s not just women anymore – to have the information necessary to make smart decisions about having work done.”

Catch the trailer on YouTube, Google or hotdocstv.com. The series is next slated for production in Houston, followed by Los Angeles and Miami in 2008.

Premiering May 27th, HotdocsTV airs Sunday mornings on NBC/KXAS from 11:00 to 11:30 AM.

Judy Myers, fitness guru and CEO of a new social networking site, uboomeru.com and CEO of entertainment company Alchemy Visions Inc., and who recently filed a lawsuit against NBC’s Lock & Key Productions’ show, Deal Or No Deal, has come out swinging against CNBC and CBS regarding the firing of Don Imus.

As you might recall, Portal of Dallas recently talked about Judy Myers’ fall at a taping of the Deal or No Deal television show.

Myers states, “I can’t believe it. This firing has put the American public on notice that we no longer have freedom of speech. This is censorship of the worst kind. We will be heading right into a Euro-Socialist Fascist era if somebody doesn’t stand up to Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, who are obviously trying to shakedown CBS and CNBC for a job.

“CNBC and Les Moonves of CBS did not ask the American public whether they should do this or not. This is a violation of the public civil rights under Section 1983 U.S. Const. 42 Amd.

“This caving in by the networks to a couple of race baiters means all of us are in danger of being ruled by street thugs with megaphones calling themselves Reverends, as moral arbiters, yet setting race relations on fire. Not one person in the media has become outraged over this. Why? They are afraid of their shadows.

“As a female champion athlete, and former coach for women’s championship sports teams, I say to the Rutgers team, get a grip and concentrate on your ‘A’ game — basketball; anything less will cause you to become losers. Keep your eye on the right kind of prize.”

Judy Myers, CEO of uboomeru.com, a new social networking site for baby boomers and a fitness guru, alleges in her suit she was injured February 19, 2006, while working as an “Extra,” i.e. a paid audience member, on a studio soundstage at the Sunset Gower Studios in Hollywood, CA, during a production of the show, “Deal or No Deal.”

Judy Myers is the CEO of uboomeru.com a new social networking site for baby boomers published author of best selling health and fitness books, a masters bodybuilding and fitness champion, golf champion, media mogul and CEO of entertainment company Alchemy Visions, filed a lawsuit on Friday, April 6, 2007 against Lock and Key Productions Inc., the production company for primetime television show “Deal or No Deal,” starring Howie Mandell. Alexander J. Petale, a high profile celebrity attorney, is representing Ms. Myers.

Ms. Myers states in her lawsuit, filed Friday, April 6, 2007 (www.lasuperiorcourt.org Case Number BC369070), “She was asked if she wished to participate in a ‘dance contest,’ and if so was instructed to quickly ‘hurry up and come down’ to participate in a dance contest during the commercial break.”

The stage manager emphasized that everyone had to move quickly to come down to participate as there was not much time for the commercial break. The lighting was dark. There were no hand railings for persons descending the steps to hold on to and no illumination strips on the edge of the steps, to see the edge of the steps.

As Ms. Myers was hurrying down the steps, pursuant to the specific instructions of the stage manager, who at the time was looking directly at Ms. Myers, Ms. Myers tripped and fell down, striking her right knee and leg on the steps and floor, suffering great and considerable personal injuries, damages, harm and experienced pain to her right knee, right leg and side of her body.

Defendants and such and all of them were under a duty to maintain a safe working area for the plaintiff, a participant in the production of “Deal or No Deal” show. The defendants breached their duty to maintain safe working areas by failing to provide adequate lighting, failing to maintain handrails on the steps and failing to place illumination strips along the edge of the steps.

These failures on the part of the Defendants to maintain safe working areas for the plaintiff were the actual cause of Plaintiffs trip and fall injury and the Plaintiff suffered great and considerable injuries, harm, loss and damages, including but not limited to a torn meniscus in her right knee as well as other injuries to be specified during the course of this litigation.

Deal or No Deal will be holding auditions in Grand Prairie, Texas on April 14th.
